Since I was so thankful for all the blessings in my life, this Thanksgiving I decided to test my luck and jump out of an airplane. I’ve always wanted to go skydiving, and when I was given the opportunity to jump over the beautiful Monterey Bay in California, I could not pass on the chance.
The video is fairly amusing, since my mind was pretty much shut down with fear at that point, and the videographer was trying to interview me. My favorite exchange…
Video guy: “What are you doing here today?”
Me: “uhhhhhhh” [What the heck AM I doing here???]
Instructor: “Skydiving”
Me: “Skydiving!”

OMG - like witnessing a rebirth!
Something I’ve always wanted to do -
though don’t think I will, at least not for a time.
Crazy how you just hang weightless in the sky
for maybe a minute and then down
all in such a short sweet time.
