This Month’s Kiva Mama

November 3rd, 2008

Edith in NicaraguaEdith del Socorro Bermúdez has worked selling children’s clothing for the past four years. She sells the clothing from her own place on the outskirts of the Masaya market in Nicaragua. She is a married woman and has a young daughter whom she supports.

I’ve been doing microloans through Kiva for over a year now. I lend to mothers who are working to support their families. My best wishes go out to Edith in her clothing store!
